Five of One is a globally inspired full service catering
company that is committed to providing superior customer care.
The Chicago based catering company was established in January
2007, and was founded by a passion for exploring &
appreciating diverse cuisines. Five of one provides an
authentic cultural experience through the culinary arts.

Five of One is committed to creating and sharing quality and
culturally authentic cuisines, while growing with new and
emerging trends.
Philosophy
Five of One is dedicated to introducing varied cultural
experiences through food. Examining and introducing different
cultures on a plate to a melting pot such as the Chicago land
area will assist in building bridges not only between
multifarious eating habits, but also between diverse cultures,
races, and faiths.
Five of One views food as an educational opportunity, and each
dinning experience offers the possibility of understanding,
respecting, and appreciating diversity. So, sharing our
experiences with assorted cuisines will assist in alleviating
cultural unawareness and supporting the understanding
different cultures.
Services
Five of One offers full service catering, corporate catering,
drop off catering, wedding catering, and other special events
catering. Five of One is is committed to providing superior
customer care. Full service for an event includes: event
planning, menu, food preparation, set-up, banquet
coordination, service, and breakdown.
Event Planning
The first step in planning an event is a consult with a
Five of One coordinator. The coordinator will assist in
choosing a venue (if needed), and type of set-up. The
coordinator will listen to the clients needs and make
suggestions to maximize the quality of the event with the
budget proposed.
Menu
The coordinator will also assist in creating a menu.
Sample menus will be available as a choice, but clients
are able to customize their menus.
Food Preparation
Five of One uses high quality ingredients in all
preparation. Special dietary needs will be considered, so
organic and kosher preparation is an option.
Set-up
Five of one staff will ensure the proper set-up for each
event.
Banquet Coordinator
A banquet coordinator will be present at every event to
guarantee proper execution. The banquet coordinator will
handle any and all issues the day of the event.
Service
Professional, well trained, and personable staff will
serve and assist during every event keeping guest
satisfaction in mind, and will ensure smooth operation.
Breakdown
After an event Five of One staff will breakdown all stands
and equipment. All clean-up of the venue will also be
completed by staff.
Test Kitchens
Five of One also offers test kitchens to it's clients,
which means if you would like us to recreate a family dish
(or any dish) we will work with you to do it! |
