OFF-GRID CONNECTION:- Solar energy is being used in remote locations like villages for rural electrification projects, water pumping and irrigations, lighting and providing electrical power for community buildings in most developing countries. Other applications include telecommunications, navigational aids, cathodic protection for pipelines and agricultural projects. The panels have the capability of generating energy from 100watts to megawatts.

GRID-CONNECTION:- On like off grid , grid connected applications supplement and complement grid-supplied electricity. These process allows customers to reduce total consumption and reliance on grid generated electricity. Also, in the event of power outage, the system supplies clean solar electricity to loads and in most cases sell back power to the grid (local utility company), a process known as "buy back".
